We are delighted to congratulate the two Balcarras School Young Enterprise teams for their exceptional achievements at the Young Enterprise Regional Final on Thursday 20^th March.

We’re proud to share that Balcarras students were crowned Best Overall Company at the final, held at The Swindon and Wiltshire Institute of Technology. Competing against eight teams from Gloucestershire and Wiltshire across six categories — Sustainability, Best Presentation, Technology, Customer Service, Creativity, and Best Overall Company — both of our teams performed brilliantly!

• Team Mist proudly won the Technology prize.

• Team Pearl secured awards for Best Presentation and the prestigious title of Best Overall Company.

As the Best Overall Company winners, Team Pearl will now represent Gloucestershire at the South West Company of the Year Final in Poole on May 7th. We wish them the very best of luck as they compete for the regional title!

Young Enterprise is a national charity that empowers young people with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in the world of work. This year, nearly 1,000 student-run companies have been launched across the country, with students making key business decisions — from product creation and business planning to financial management and sales.
