Y8 Science and Geography Trip
This term, Y8 students visited the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum in London.
At the Natural History Museum, students learnt about how the movement of the tectonic plates shape our world in the volcanoes and earthquakes exhibit.
Following this they entered the dinosaur exhibit to see Dippy the Diplodocus. Did you know, Dippy used to be in the entrance hall of the museum!
After lunch, the students visited the Science museum where they discovered all about the history of the UK's involvement in the space race.
A great day out was had by all students and a big thank you to the geography and science departments for organising the trip!
