The Story so far…

The generous donations from our parents mean that we are able to continue to develop the school in ways that directly benefit the students.

Our government funding settlement barely allows us to get by, so parental donations let us offer improvement and extras. Lately we have spent parental donations on:

In 2024    

• a renovated beautiful Citroen H-Van to use as an additional service hatch 
• trees, flowers and rose bushes for the site as well as extensive landscaping and mending of ponds
• we gave our school kitchens a major upgrade

In 2023

• two brand new minibuses
• a new meeting room
• the new ‘Wellbeing Room’
• part-funded a new laser cutter in DT  
• funded training for Buddy, the wonderful Balcarras school dog

In 2022    

• a refit of two science labs
• built a new Design Technology suite
• re-configured a computer room
