This photo, taken by our very own Mr Cullis,  shows a breath-taking sunset over the Kinder Plateau in the Peak District.  Twenty-two of our sixth formers spent a late summer evening enjoying the moment after a long day of walking over the hills towards the end of their final Duke of Edinburgh Gold expedition.  The expedition saw its fair share of blood, sweat and tears.  However, my abiding memory will be of smiling faces when we got to the end, and of that magical campsite high up in the hills where we sat in the twilight and shared a golden sunset and then a silver moonrise.
