Ottewell win the House music competition for the second year running
This year’s House Music event was another real success. It is always fantastic to see so many students involved, from year 7 through to year 13. The sixth for leaders did a tremendous job getting the students in their Houses organised, arranging music, putting together PowerPoints, arranging rehearsals, ensuring they had a programme with a strong theme and so on. The competition day itself was a very enjoyable day. Jess Blatchley, a professional singer and singing teacher, judged the competition and was very impressed with the talent she saw. This then lead to a thoroughly successful Highlights Concert the following evening. There does have to be a winner but I would like to thank and congratulate ALL those involved. Obviously, however, special congratulations to Ottewell House for winning the competition for the second consecutive year.
