After winning the Cheltenham district 7 a side football tournament in Tewkesbury last month, the Year 8 & 9 girls went through to the next round, which was held Oak Land Park, Bristol. The girls won their group comfortable, never conceding a goal. They then had to play Kings Oak in the final, a team from Bristol. It was a physical, tough match resulting in a 0-0 draw. It then went straight to penalties! It was incredibly tense and nerve-racking, but the girls kept their nerves under control and put away some amazing goals!  Big shout out to Kiki Price, for stepping up and taking the first penalty and scoring. Naomi Kelly saved some great goals, which helped us win the tournament! It was a fantastic day, and all the girls involved in both rounds should be very proud of their achievement! The U 14s football team are the county champions!!! Well done everyone!
