Balcarras pupils had fun attending the University of Gloucestershire's Explorative Health and Social Care Taster Day. These pupils were Year 12 and took part in this as part of their Health and Social Care course. All of the pupils had a great day!

They had an insight into how children’s welfare and best interests are considered within care proceedings through a simulated children and families court case and then had a hands-on look and experience of operating department practitioners. The hidden heroes of the NHS.
